Reviews and Ratings
Staying at Bodmi was a true delight. The rooms are spacious with amazing views of the Eiger from the balcony, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day in the mountains. The service showcases creativity and attention to detail, ensuring a memorable stay. The location is simply stunning, offering snowy landscapes and a charming setting away from the hustle and bustle of Grindelwald. Overall, a great value for money hotel with exceptional offerings.
Staying at the hotel was a true delight with large, well-furnished rooms featuring a TV with English programmes, a writing desk, comfortable beds, and a balcony with comfy reclining chairs offering a wonderful view of the Eiger North Wall and surrounding mountains. While the rooms were spacious and of an extremely high quality, the sofa bed was more suitable for children.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were of the peace and splendor that is Grindelwald, with the most fantastic view of the Eiger. Our room was spacious, well-furnished, and extremely clean, truly reflecting the exceptional standards of the hotel. The service, in all aspects of our stay and hiking trips, was marvellous. Special thanks to Kurt and Eliza who made our time there even more enjoyable with their attentiveness without being intrusive. The location couldn't be better, nestled in a beautiful alpine meadow above Grindelwald, offering seclusion and unbeatable views of the Eiger. The dining experience, unlike the receptionist Cristina, who didn't meet the hotel's high standards, offered a delightful spread of cheeses, bread, rolls, juices, fruits, and the BEST yogurt on the planet in a clean and welcoming environment. The hotel's facilities were top-notch, especially the beautifully restored former goat ran transformed into a health and relaxation area.
I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel. The rooms offer the most fantastic view of the Eiger, equipped with a flat screen TV providing over 100 stations tailored for English-speaking guests. The service was top-notch, with a special shoutout to Kurt and Eliza for their marvelous attention. The location, nestled in a beautiful alpine meadow with stunning views of the Wetterhorn, Mattenberg, and the Eiger, was simply breathtaking. The dining experience, particularly the self-service options and the cheese from their own goats, was a tremendous treat. Overall, a great value for money with a few minor hiccups.
I upgraded to a South facing suite to enjoy the fantastic Eiger views from my large and well-furnished room with a TV featuring English programmes, a writing desk, comfortable beds, and a private balcony with comfy reclining chairs overlooking the mountains. However, the lack of screens on the windows was a minor inconvenience.
My stay at the hotel was amazing! The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and had breathtaking views of the Eiger, Kline Schydegg, and Mannlichen mountains. The flat-screen TV with over 100 channels in English was a nice touch. The service was exceptional, with extremely friendly and helpful staff who really made my experience at Das Bodmi awesome. The location was perfect for accessing the Grindelwald arena for skiing and other sports activities. The dining experience was delicious, offering a variety of Swiss dishes and the best yogurt on the planet. Overall, a fantastic place to stay with great value for money.
